My Curly Hair Journey with Eve Curls

My name is Annemiek van Wijngaarden. Online, I call myself Manemiek: a combination of my mane (hair) and my name (Annemiek). I am 35 years old and work as a senior marketing and communications consultant at a medical laboratory.

My curly hair journey actually began through my twin sister. She was desperately searching for something to make her hair healthy again and discovered the Curly Girl Method. The difference was enormous: her curls came to life and looked beautiful. She inspired me to embrace my natural curls too, instead of straightening them with a blow-dry brush or curling them with a curling iron.
